Light from the Noble Quran

"The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion."

Surah Al-Baqarah • Verse 185

"O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous."

Surah Al-Baqarah • Verse 183

The Call of Al-Jumu'ah

English Translation

"O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew."

Surah Al-Jumu'ah • Verse 9

Hadith of the Prophet (ﷺ)

The Master of All Days:
Al-Jumu'ah

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) emphasized the sanctity of Friday, especially when it coincides with the blessed month of Ramadan. It is a day of congregational prayer, remembrance, and immense rewards.

"The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he was made to enter Paradise, and on it he was expelled from it." (Muslim)

Day of Forgiveness

Between one Friday and the next, there is expiation for sins if major sins are avoided.

Hour of Acceptance

There is an hour on Friday when no Muslim asks for something from Allah except that He gives it.

Sending Salawat
